Sinkler Miller Medical Association (SMMA) is a mission-driven organization dedicated toimproving healthcare for African-American and other minority communities in the Bay Area. Ourgoal is to enhance healthcare access, address disparities, and support the recruitment andretention of African-American physicians and healthcare providers in underserved communities.Through advocacy, mentorship, and community engagement, we strive to make a meaningfulimpact on healthcare equity.
The Sinkler Miller Future Physician Academy (SMFPA) program is designed to supportunderrepresented students in Alameda County on their journey to becoming medical doctors.SMFPA offers a structured pathway for students interested in pursuing a career in medicine.Through mentorship, academic support, and clinical exposure, participants will gain the skillsand experience needed to succeed in medical school and beyond.
